When to visit

Best time to visit Lapita Beach

There isn’t really a bad time in Vanuatu — the islands are warm and welcoming year-round. The real question is whether you prefer the crisp, dry months or the lush, green season.

Dry season · May to October

Cooler, drier, and less humid with calm seas and outstanding underwater visibility. This is peak season for snorkelling the marine reserve and the most popular time to visit. Book early to secure your preferred dates.

Green season · November to April

Warmer and more humid, with occasional short tropical showers. The estate is at its most verdant, gardens are vibrant, and the island feels wonderfully quiet. Perfect for a relaxed, slower-paced escape with fewer guests.

Whichever season you choose, the water stays beautifully warm and the reef remains spectacular. Check availability for your preferred dates and let us know how we can help plan your ideal Lapita Beach experience.
