Direct from Australia. Solomon Airlines operates convenient direct flights from Brisbane (BNE) to Santo (SON) twice a week — Thursdays and Saturdays. These flights make it easy to plan a perfect 7-night escape.
Via Port Vila. Fly into Port Vila (VLI) and connect with Air Vanuatu, which offers multiple daily flights to Santo (usually 2 per day, 6 days a week). The domestic flight takes around 50–70 minutes.
Airport transfers. Upon arrival at Santo International Airport (Luganville), our team can arrange private transfers to the ferry departure point. Just let us know your flight details when booking.
2 · Santo to Aore Island — ferry transfers
Aore Island is just a short, scenic boat ride from Santo. Lapita Beach operates our own dedicated ferry boat, so we can flexibly accommodate your arrival:
- Day tours — morning pickup and afternoon return.
- Holiday stays — seamless transfers to our beachfront accommodation.
- Real estate inspections — custom timing for property viewings.
We coordinate everything based on your flight schedule and preferences. No stress, no waiting around — just beautiful views as you cross the water to paradise.
Pro tip: share your flight itinerary when you make your booking or enquiry, and we’ll handle the rest — including any custom ferry arrangements.
Flight schedules can change — we recommend confirming directly with Solomon Airlines or Air Vanuatu closer to your travel dates.
